Runway Rebels
Runway Rebels is an eight-week upcycled-fashion program takes participants from not knowing how to sew to presenting their own designs while your organization hosts the kind of event people can’t stop talking about—part fashion show, part celebration of community creativity. The final runway becomes a spotlight for sustainability, stem skills, self-expression, and local pride, drawing in families, volunteers, and fresh supporters who see your mission come to life in style. Partnership Opportunities
Runway Rebels is designed to grow with your organization. Some partners bring me in to lead the full eight-week program from the first sketch to the final runway. Others use the Train-the-Trainer (TTR) option to equip their own instructors with our curriculum and creative framework. Programs can stand alone as community showcases, become part of a larger fundraising event where you sell tickets, or connect with the regional Runway Rebels show for broader exposure. Every format includes clear volunteer roles and community touchpoints that strengthen local networks and deepen engagement long after the last model leaves the stage.

Volunteers
Skilled with a needle but not sure how to guide beginners without turning into a human sewing emergency hotline? This program transforms talented sewers, tailors, and designers into confident, effective instructors. With a structured, practiced curriculum, volunteers learn how to meet students where they are, build skills step by step, and help them shine. Along the way, they gain hands-on teaching experience, leadership skills, and the smug satisfaction of knowing they helped someone else go from “I have no idea what I’m doing” to runway-ready confidence.
