I'm Staci Bernstein, the spellcaster and designer at work here. My goal is to make it easier for my friends, family, and community to find stylish sustainable clothing options.

In order to keep clothes out of landfills, I accept used garments in exchange for "store credit" and offer $2/lb for them. Since the average American is throwing out about 70 lbs of clothes a year that can add up fast. I also offer higher rates of credit for premium fabrics, like cashmere, silk, wool, linen, and fabrics made from other natural fibers. For these, I estimate the retail price I'd expect to see in a thrift store and discount that by %50 as I buy on sale.

Things you can do with your Staci credit
Made to Order
Find designs that appeal to you on my made-to-order page and let me know your size info along with any customizing you like.
Custom
You can also have me design and make any custom clothing that can be built from repurposed materials. This is a great way to give new life to something you have with sentimental value. Commissions include three sets of sketches along with photos of the fabrics I have available. Once you select a design we take measurements and I'll do 1-3 fittings to make sure the garment works perfectly for your body.

Etsy
You can also order anything from my Etsy store by emailing me from the contact page and telling me what you want. Here’s the link. https://www.etsy.com/shop/SpellcasteraggieV Don’t order from the Etsy page. It’s not set up for credit.
Pop Up shop
When I do trunk shows, pop-up shops, and craft fairs you can purchase any of my ready-to-wear items off the rack.

Classes
You can take sewing and upcycle classes from me or hire me for one-on-one mentorship. Check out my Calendar page to see what's on offer. Classes cover everything from basic alterations to advanced sewing projects so jump in and join the fun.
Transfer your credit
You can gift, trade or transfer your credit to a person, ideally in their young adult years. This would be awesome as I design for 15- 25 years old’s in the Denver/Boulder/Fort Collins area.
RATES
As of 2023 I'm charging $30 an hour for my time, plus the cost of second-hand materials and sewing notions.
STORE POLICIES
My store policy is that I'll do unlimited repairs and alterations on pieces I make. You can return these to me at the end of their use for exchange or store credit.
A BIT OF MAGIC
Along with all the good Juju of upcycled clothing, you also get a little bit of my spell work infused into your clothes to protect you and bring prosperity and wellbeing into your life.
